Tourist attractions:

Beaches:

Known as "the Surfing Capital of Zambales", with locals promoting surfing since the early 1990's. This area was greatly affected by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, as with the Sto. Tomas river just North, huge amounts of Lahar (Volcanic sand) was deposited along the beaches. Thus, adding in some cases thousands of square meters to the existing properties, so much so that currently the local government is planning a new coastal road along the affected area, which may well have a negative impact on the lands that had increased.

This is also the home of the Quiksilver Surf Academy, a Surfing School, developed in 2012 by local surfers and resort operators. This has become one of the best known surf schools in reasonable reach of Manila.

Additionally, this was an early area of resort development, thus, a number of quality resorts exist in this area. It is also one of the first areas, in conjunction with Zambales Lifesaving Inc., to have trained lifeguards on the beaches operating within patrolled areas for swimmers safety.

SCUBA Diving:

San Narciso is one of the few Coastal areas where SCUBA diving is catered for. There are a number of good dive sites in the area and around the nearby Capones Islands.

Fishing:

Is also good in this area with good game fish in the vacinity. In January thru end of February, it is also fairly common to spot Whale Sharks in the area.
